Late Review“Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is a pleasant surprise. The combination of moral dilemmas, strategic allocation of survivors, and macabre research system is incredibly motivating. If you're looking for games with a healthy dose of zombie horror and management, you'll get your money's worth here!”

Late Review“I do appreciate Quarantine Zone‘s gameplay loop. Its mixture of the bureaucracy analysis popularized by Papers Please, thrown into a zombie apocalypse setting, is, without a shadow of a doubt, very unique, and, at least at first, pretty engaging. Sadly, there’s just not a lot meat in it to keep you invested for long.”

Late Review“Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is a game that I can recommend to anyone with a clear conscience. It is a very atmospheric, engaging game that, above all, provides a lot of fun. Sure, you could point to some repetitiveness, a few persistent bugs, or mediocre optimization, but all these flaws are lost in the thicket of at least ten hours of truly solid and satisfying fun.”

Late Review“Dripping with atmosphere, “Quarantine Zone: The Last Check” embraces both the monotonous and stressful aspects of working at checkpoint. It’s a game that asks you to take decisions that are way above your pay grade, and deal with the mental health consequences yourself.”

Late Review“At a grim checkpoint on the brink of collapse, survivors arrive one by one, desperate to pass through, and it’s your job to decide who enters, who waits, and who is denied access.”

Late Review“Quarantine Zone: The Last Check stands out for its concept and emotional impact, making the player feel the weight of deciding others' fate. Weaker in variety, narrative, and technical polish, it lingers more for its discomfort than its game design.”

Late Review“Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is recommended because it offers something different within the zombie genre, focusing on observation, management, and decision-making rather than constant action. Its greatest strength lies in the recognition loop and how it manages to convey the responsibility of deciding the fate of each survivor, although it can become repetitive over time. Overall, it is a game with a lot of personality and good ideas.”

Late Review“Quarantine Zone: The Last Check is a title with an excellent premise that ultimately runs out of steam in its execution. It has brilliant ideas, such as the triage system and the visual tension of screening for infections, but it fails to sustain long-term interest due to overly simple base management and repetitive mechanics that eventually wear thin. If you enjoy medical sims, gore, and zombie themes, and can pick it up on sale, it can offer a couple of afternoons of intriguing entertainment. However, if you are looking for a deep management challenge that will keep you glued to your seat for weeks, you might want to keep looking at another checkpoint.”

Late Review“Quarantine Zone: The Last Check struggles with technical issues and inconsistent challenges. Glitches, visual drops, and clunky mechanics pull you out of the experience, and the game doesn’t always push you to adapt or think in surprising ways. Though it shines in giving players a real sense of authority, a reactive world, and satisfying systems that reward careful observation and decision-making, its current state is difficult to recommend. However, fans of puzzle-management simulations who enjoy moral ambiguity and quiet tension can still have a compelling and worthwhile experience despite its rough edges.”

Early Review“Quarantine Zone: The Last Check (Demo) is an imaginative and grimly compelling blend of strategy, horror, and moral dilemmas. It’s Papers, Please meets The Walking Dead, with enough dark humor and high-stakes decision-making to make it uniquely its own. It’s tense. It’s weird. It’s surprisingly deep. And it’s worth keeping an eye on. Borderline brilliant. Literally.”
